15 Jun The Tour De Northamptonshire: ‘Excellent event, really friendly and the navigation was perfect!’

It was only our second ever Tour De Northamptonshire Cyclosportive last weekend, so it was lovely to hear so many positive reviews from the lovely people who took part.
Putting on a range of events – from multi-day ultras in Nepal to cycling in Northamptonshire – certainly keeps you busy and there are always plenty of moving parts to put into place for the big day, so it’s always great to hear that people enjoyed their latest challenge.
It was great to hear about how our cyclists were able to focus on the marked course, with our painted signage indicated which way to go dependent on the rout they were taking – yellow for 60 miles, green for 40 and orange for 30.
With split point signs and voice navigation in place as well, we always concentrate on what has to be the biggest part of any race or Cyclosportive – making sure participants go the right way!
We are really proud to be able to put this event on in Northamptonshire and help to show off the stunning scenery the county has to offer, so it’s safe to say we will definitely be back next year for Edition 3 of the Tour De Northamptonshire.

- Well organised and a nice route through Northamptonshire that managed to stay off the main roads most of the time.
- Thoroughly enjoyed my first ride on the TDN. Took part in the 60 mile distance and really loved the fast flowing roads on the route. Nice mix of little villages, long country roads, fast descents and the odd tricky climb thrown in to keep you puffing.
